Done something stupid to my laptop (lol)

Don't ask me how (because I do not know!!!) but I somehow got a bit "click happy" and accidentally deleted my recycle bin on my laptop! :panic:

I have gone all through my programs and it is NOT there!!!

As far as I am aware I have only deleted the shortcut on my desktop so how do I find it and create a new shortcut? There must be a way - right?! :eek:

Control panel... personalisation like fluffyemma says...

Then on the left of that box it says ... task / change desktop icons / adjust font size

Go into change desktop icons and re-click the recycle bin option.

You might need to re-start your laptop to make it show up,

Believe it or not I have just had to check back on this thread as I have just done it AGAIN! :doh:

you don't actually need it showing for the recycle bin to be used
if you send somehting to the recycle bin it will go anyway regardless of whether it's on your desk top or not
i keep my desktop clear as it all annoys me seeing it there
