Hi all, Im leanne, I have sent all my paper work off and had my visit. Just waiting for my CRB. Seems to be taking ages. Has any one got any tips on how to stand out as a cm, and get my name/business out there. I am a nursery nurse so that may help!!! Im just feel I little lost and out of my comfort zone :( and dont really know what to do next! any thanks for many comments:thumbsup: !!! xx

If you go onto vista print you can design business cards for free there is a link on this site.
I would research where your local childminder drop ins toddler groups for minders etc go and introduce yourself they may then pass business to you if their full.
There are a few sites you can register on but im not sure what im still very new to all this im sure someone will be along to help soon.
Also your local school/nurserys

We are quite new CM's too.
Try to create a website, attend CM drop ins and Parent drop ins in your area to get noticed. Get your name on your local authority childminding info board. It will all help to get you noticed.
