Planning and Observation for Over 5s?

Hi prob a silly q but do I need to do this for over 5s? Thanks

Not once they reach the end of reception. - take heart - you could if you wish or you could show that you have thought about them in your planning far easier to do just one set of planning with activities for olderones included instead of having 2 sets. you could if you wished show how you monitor progress of older ones - keep something similar - especailly if you've come to grips with doing it for the younger ones - if not concentrate on younger ones and get that right and feel comfortable with it before taking on any unnecessary work - and remember to spare time for yourself and your family
