Hi everyone just wanted let everyone know about my 1st experience of a full graded inspection......I had the call a month ago and she kept texting me every week moving it forward, this went on for just under a month. I was feeling nervous but by the beginning of this week I was a wreck!! it really did my nerves in and just wanted it over with!!
So yesterday it got to about midday and nothing - she told me if she wasn't with me by 11:30 to assume she wasnt coming.... THEN 3 big bangs on the door she had arrived. She stayed for 5 hours! really gave me some encouragement and it didn't really feel like an 'inspection' she said my SEF was pants and I didn't sell myself enough but just by talking to me she thought everything I was doing was really good I just wasn't any good at putting it in writing.
I got a GOOD in all areas apart from 1 area which she graded as outstanding! (can't remember which one it was!) I was aiming for a satisfactory.
All in all a good experience - anybody out there who hasn't had one before and is worrying - please don't, use it as learning experience and pick their brains while you've got them in your home, REALLY sell yourself in your SEF - and remember if the kids enjoy being with you - you know you're good.
A big thank you to you all for the tips you post on here you're all FAB
