I love the idea of getting stuff for free.

However I feel a little awkward keeping vouchers for my self when I could give them to my DDs school - does that sounds silly?

Yes, school has lots of children who can give vouchers - childminders can't hope to collect as many and schools have access to much more funding than we do.

So keep your vouchers and then your daughter and your mindees get to benefit directly from the things you get.

I can relate to that as my daughter goes to a little village school so every little really does help!
I think sometimes you have to put your business head on though, difficult as it may be!

Oooh this is fab!! I always end up with loads of vouchers as our local Tesco give out loads lol.

Can we do the Sainsbury Active Kids also?? Had a look, and when you register it asks if you're a Guide group, Scout Group or School/Nursery

You can get the catalogue too choose from and see how many vouchers you need for each.

Last year I got 2 tuff spots, some childrens knives and a set of lovely stepping stones

Had all DDs friends getting them from their parents for me!

Tesco - I just rang and registered and they told me that they would send pack out when it starts.

Sainsburys - told me i couldnt register as i didnt look after enough children and the least amount vouchers was 100. I even said well my parents all shop at sainsburys as this is nearest supermarket and they sorry we cant register you.

Guess I will be using my tesco extra store more now and saving for a big shop at another supermarket.

I registered last year and banked my vouchers (500 :( ) so that i can hopefully get something decent this year.

Do not feel guilty about not giving them to your local schools, they get loads and i am surprised at the lengths they go to. Because last year the number of vouchers that could be banked was limited to 15,000 one of my local schools registered twice under slightly different names i.e. 'The .... ... School' and '..... ..... Community School' they are either very sneakey or very cleaver.

Collect your vouchers and enjoy them.

Just a question - if you do an online shop with Tesco can you still get the vouchers or are they just for shopping in store?

When I've done online shops in the past they've stapled the vouchers to my order note, if they forget just ask the delivery driver.

I can't decide whether to register or not, am not actually childminding yet and can't help feeling the school would benefit more than me, since they're really struggling at the moment, hmmmm
