She is soooo happy and I am so relieved. Letter came this morning to confirm she can go to the one we all wanted her to. It is the one her big sister went to but because of the age gap she has left and moved on to college so we couldn't use the sibling rule.

The village is split in half between two schools and we live closest to the other one. This is the first time for 8 years that pupils from this side of the village have been allowed to go without appealing. All her friends live on the other side of the village so she has spent the last 6 months stressed to the max worrying that she is going to be starting high school on her own. Hopefully she can now enjoy the rest of her last year at primary school. I am one happy Mummy:D

Pleased for you both :) . It is never an issue were I live there are only two possible schools , one Welsh language and the other English. You choose which and I don't know of anyone who didn't get into the school they chose.

I have another one at the end of March to see if DS gets his place at primary school. Not really worried about that one as there is only 9 children applying for 15 places:rolleyes: We will be really unlucky if he doesn't get in

Congratulations:clapping: :clapping:

We only have the English/Welsh choice here unless you want to pay to send them on 2 service buses the other way - some do.

I will have to pay for the bus as this school is not the closest to us (0.2 of a mile difference) but not major amounts. She has nearly made herself ill with worry over this so I am just pleased it has all worked out in the end:rolleyes:
