my cousin has just messaged me on facebook asking i i ever need a babysitter to ask her as at 15 she is looking for abit more money asked told her i dont go out very oftern but how much will she charge and said £8 per hour as ive 2 kids ,do u think this is abit much as if i went out the kids would be in bed anyway or maybe im being a meanie as i charge £3 ph childminding lol

Oooh thats more than what my babysitter charges if she does 7-11 she get £20 and the taxi money home. I have four children so suppose Im either getting a good deal or you a bad one :)

DD wants to babysit, she's nearly 16 and I said £5 would be a good amount for her age.

Dd is 16 and charges between £4 and £5 per hour depending on the family.

She gets a lift back or a taxi :D

I think that is too much, I charge £7 p/h. I would pay a teenager less and less if they don't have first aid.
