how do you fine out what stage you are at i would like to knwo how far my assitants is from completion.

You can check on line or just give them a ring on 08709090811.
Mine has been at stage 4 now for ages, I gave them a ring and they told me there was a problem and it had been put on hold untill they heard from Ofsted, a letter had been sent to Ofsted on the 17th dec regarding this,but when I rang them they had not received it! Ofsted dont seem to get much of their mail as this is the 3rd letter sent that has never arrived! Worth getting in touch with them as they are supposed to complete all checks within a certain ammount of time, mine has now been passed over to the case management team because it has taken so long. So still waiting! Good luck xx

Mine was 8 weeks, when I called CRB and it was 7 weeks and 6 days, they told me to call back the next day as it would be 8 weeks and then they can officially chase the police force to push it through.

i just checked my assistants and it is at stage 4 already they received it 14th jan is that quick??? how long does it take to get from stage 4 to 5

Mine was 8 weeks from stage 4 to 5, went to stage 4 around 18 November then finally to stage 5 around 9 Jan!
