I am struggling to read an comprehend the posts that are typed in capitals.

Must be getting old but could we stick to lower case where possible please.

I was saying to Pauline at the Christmas do that on the holiday forum i belong to we are not allowed to post in capitals or phone text speak.

They say that some sort of reader that partially sighted people use cannot pick these up. I dont understand but just follow the rules. :)

I can't read a post in all capitals, my eyes can't focus on the words properly.

 Sorry I sometimes postall in capitals (usually because I've pressed the cap lock button by mistake & can't be bothered to re-type it all)

I think I can change the settings to prevent SHOUTING! but if I do then of course you wouldn't be able to shout when you really wanted to

Maybe we need a shouting icon on the smilies :D

It isn't the odd word I struggle with it is the whole paragraph

I'm the same! I can't read posts where people don't use paragraphs because it's too confusing and my eyes can't read it properly - if that makes sense!

I've not really thought about reading typing all in caps - I think it's because I haven't come across a message like that. Now I've thought about it though, it probably would be difficult to read.

I just type the way I was taught all those years ago - I was a legal secretary and I would have had my fingers chopped of if I typed in double line spacing except when starting a new paragraph!!!!
