Forward planning, following on from Elmer in the snow and making elephant masks, collages etc we are moving on to the jungle. Can anyone help me add to my spidergram plan please.

Feel free to use it if it is of any use to you too. ;)

Animals of the jungle... http://www.dltk-kids.com/animals/jungle.html

Focus on apes and monkeys

Safari park visit - http://www.epinions.com/kifm-review-54E-248301D-38CE7925-prod3

think about what jungles look like and make one in an old shoe box (take the front bit away... then use animals in it as a puppet theatre

Nice planning!! Hth :D

You could make different foot markings out of the good old potato printing/print them off the internet, and go on an adventure to find the animal. My DS class have just done this with leopard prints, they were all over the school and they had to find the leopard!

I can't view your link but you could look at the artisit, Henri Rousseau as a lot of his paintings were jungled themed. Even just visit the library and get a book to look at his work. Perhaps create a collage in a similar style to his work.
