What usually happens if the parents can't get to school because it is closed because of snow or heating problems? Do you find that they usually still send their child to you?
Do they expect a refund as they might not even be able to get out of their house but if they can't move, why should they expect you to pick up if you don't usually?
Or is it just ....see how it goes?
The weather forecast for my area in the next few days looks quite dire

Mine have tended to keep their child at home with them if they can't get in and I've still been paid, under the terms of our contract, as I'm still open and available to mind :clapping:

I would be available for them to drop the child to me if they wanted, but there would be no collecting them and no refund if they couldn't/didn't come.

Same with me. Last Feb I had a week off paid as my mindees were mostly teachers kids who kept them home - paid without question.

Was off for Xmas hols this time so no mindees anyway
