I think it is the national min wage unless you come to some agreement like me and mine (but she is my little sis) who is with me while she completes her cm training and reg.

So you can make an agreement with them then? I need someone asap and it would be quicker for her to be an assistant then reg as a CM.

Hi debbie, do you have extra children to mind as you work with an assistant?
Do you have to pay National Insurance and stuff too?

You can have a self employed assistant. Then they bill you for their time & they sort their own tax & NI out, but they are still entitled to holidays etc. Not that I have even the basic amount of children:rolleyes:

Any extra children would depend on what your registration body decide. It may be the same amount in total but more in early years age group or it may be more generally.
