I have snow !!!!

I know most of you have had loads of snow & are probably very fed up by now but we haven't had much more than icing sugar & DD2 was very poorly and we missed it:( .

I pulled the curtains & said that it looked like it was going to rain hard 5 mins later dd 1 & 2 came running in shouting that it was snowing & laying. Have had a couple of inches in 20 mins and all been outside to play (except DS who is too big to get excited at snow:rolleyes: ). Big surprise:clapping: :clapping:

Council haven't gritted (their depot is in the village:rolleyes: ) so we have a pick-up trying to pull a trailer up the slight hill we live on - very very slowly.

we had a bout ten mins worth on the 23rd and that was it, we had a small fluster earlier but it really was blink and you'll miss it :(

We are sick of it now, we've had snow since last Tuesday and its just not shifting as we keep getting more. Must have about 14 inches now in the back garden

we woke up this morning to few inches mostly gone now tho

snow and ice been here since 17th december, so sick of it now, at least there has been no snow today.
never thought i would say it but i just wish it would dissapear but its so thick and icy that it will take ages to go.

DH is supposed to be at work driving a bus tomorrow. No probs getting to work - he can use the sledge as it is only in the village but cars are struggling on the main road so the bus won't go up hill unless there is a sudden thaw.

Thankyou for keeping the snow, we only had about half an inch. I'm not to fond of snow, so am glad it stayed down west.
