We have woken this morning to my ds who is 4, pickled in spots!...bless him, fancy getting that on xmas eve, he will be up all night tonight scratching his spots.....poor love.
is he no longer contagious now the spots are out? I have forgotten how chicken pox work

he is contagious for 3/4 days i think until scabs have formed...... good luck for some sleep tonight, bless

hope he's not too ill with them, can you get some Piriton syrup as it stops them itching :thumbsup:

Eurax lotion works wonders for the itching:thumbsup:
He'll be contagious till the spots crust over - you may have to change your Christmas plans!:panic:

my dd has chicken pox too
get piriton and some cream for the itching
something for the temperature should u need it.
dd also has an eye infection..so I had to get her drops
I have read on here about oat baths too, they are meant to help the itching
hope DS will be ok soon and will still enjoy his christmas!!!!
