happened at mine last night!
i heard a big noise late last night. was very scary but when i peeped out the dining room curtain i realised it was just the snow on the playhouse roof sliding off! it was amazingly LOUD! lol

I am sure it sounds worse than it is, but the conservatory roof is sounding very vulnerable!

Ours has no sign of melting, it's -7 at the moment and to drop to between -10 and -14 overnight:eek: I was literally shaking with the cold when I was out.

It's still snowing here. We've had another couple of inches overnight and the roads look pretty bad. I've got to make some deliveries so I think they will be on foot.......probably 6 to 7 mile round trip.....that'll keep me fit and use up some calories prior to tomorrow!

The weather geeks are saying that we should enjoy the few days of 'warmer' weather, apart from people in Scotland as by New Years eve there will be even MORE snow and colder temperatures on the way.......lets hope they are exagerating
