connecting wii to internet

in a follow up to mario cart on wii thread does anyone know how to connect internet to wii i have had my wii for 2 years now and still no idea.....

Is your internet password protected?.. if so you need the password.

Is your internet wireless or wired?... if it's wired you ened a cable, if it's wireless the Wii should see it automatically.

From Wii homescreen:

1 - go into Wii options
2 - go to Wii settings
3 - press + on Wii remote (or click on right arrow on screen)
4 - click on 'internet'
5 - go on connections settings
6 - go on 1, 2 or 3
7 - select wireless or wired internet

DS says you should be ok from there, hope it works. Have fun :D
