Had the best nights sleep ever!

i was moaning to my sister yesterday that i had been cold in bed, my bedroom is northfacing with a smallish radiator under a massive window (completely pointless IMO!)

so she decided to give me my christmas present early, it was an electric blanket!

WOW how brill are they. i put it on about an hour before i went to bed, got into a lovely warm bed, even tho u can leave them on low all night i turned mine off but woke up cold about 3am so flicked it on low and it kept me warm for the rest of the night. should have got one years ago!!:laughing:

I know what you mean
i have a water bed with a thermostat so in the cold weather it gets turned up so its lovely and warm then in the summer it is turned down to cool. My feet used to always be cold in bed but not any more :) :)

When i was a little girl my mum and dad had 1 for me, my dad used to turn it on an hour b4 bedtime and then left it on til i was sleeping,

but its funny cos i havent had 1 in years and seen 1 the other day and i was tellin my oh abt me having 1 as a child, so maybe i will get 1 for xmas ;)

I dont think I would want an electric blanket at all....
I love sleeping in a cold room with a big down feathers duvet and I am happy..
