Lovely display.

I've got that tent but it is huge and takes up alot of my limited space. Will have it up after Xmas for our Winter topic with added penguins and polar bears etc. :D

Yes the tent does take up quite alot of space, I've had to put some of my toys in my conservatory, we've also got penquins and polar bears but my son had done a runner with them when i took that pic!

I love the display - I have the tent too and I've been saving toilet roll inners to make cotton wool snow men next week and the week after. I never do them before Christmas - lots of other things to do then.

This is an urban myth - take a look on the Environmental health website - Its a load of auld hype created by people with nothing better to do.

Here, here. I have worked in child care for 15 years and have always used toilet rolls. We are talking about children who eat mud, dont always wash their hands properly, swap toys they have dribbled over and chewed on, pick their nose and eat it - I think using toilet rolls in crafts are the least of their health and safety concerns!!!

I must get to Ikea and get the igloo though - it looks really good. I am also going to make the giant snowman I think - it looks really effective. We did little ones on sheets of card that the kids took home before xmas but I need a big one to have on display.

It looks fab - well done you.
