Not sure if this is the right section to be asking this but, can I put down my nephews dad as a refree? I have asked my friend who's primary school teacher but I really can't think of anyone else. I know it can't be relatives but since my sister and him aren't married would he be ok? I look after their son quite often when they need it.

I'll pop your post in the 'starting childminding' section where it might get more replies...

Trouble is with Ofsted you never really know I'm afraid.

I'd always say best ring them..

OFSTED surely wouldn't know that he is your nephews Dad, could you not just put him down as a friend? He is a friend after all, he isn't related to you.
