my DS actually slept through ALL NIGHT!!!!!!!!! :clapping: for the past 3 nights he's been going to bed alone, falling asleep with a video on his own (i used to lie in bed next to him for up to an hour to get him to sleep!) and last night he didn't wake up once mumbling 'cuddle' which he's been doing for the past year about 10 times a night. i am still going to co-sleep for the next few months, partly to ensure he feels secure and partly coz my dh snores like a good'un and i'm grumpy when my sleep is disturbed!!

I am going to savour this morning because I have been trying to get this to happen since he was 9 months old (which is when we officially collapsed the cot and went for co-sleeping.)
drinks are on me!!! ;) :clapping:

pmsl - i'm not being disturbed by george but we seem to have a lodger in the loft who likes to scuttle about all night long, waking me and dh up. its either a squirrel or a rat and dh won't put poison down incase its a squirrel!

i don't have a secret i'm afraid - i just cuddled him when he said cuddle and one night just put him into bed with a video on and said - see you soon call me if you need me, night night. and he went to sleep within about half an hour.

OMG, hope it's not a rat. I hate those things!

I reckon my dil is just going in with Hollie so she doesn't have to sleep with hubby! I have to admit, I used to do that with the 1st husband  I honestly think my dil is the one with the problem and not Hollie. She'll be sleeping with her when she's 10!!!

Long may it continue with George! :clapping:

Well done I am writing this as dd has fallen asleep on my knee again same as every other night, I will then lift her into bed where she will sleep till about 1 in the morning try and climb into my bed I will get up put her back into bed and she will do this at least once more before I give up and let her into our bed, she is 2 1/2 :panic:
On the plus side dd1 was the same and as soon as she started nursery she went to bed herself and started sleeping through, only 8 months to go then
