Just got back from their christmas play, Captain Hooks Revenge and my son was Captain Hook, and he was amazing, he is only just 11 and had 123 lines, which he was word perfect on, lots of people came up to us over the last couple of days and said how fantastic he was, so we couldn't wait to see him, we were so proud, he was really good!

My dd was a Pirate and sang her verse of the song really well, she looked really cute as the only girl pirate (all the rest of the girls were fairies, but the thought of that was too much for her! )

Well done ds and dd.:clapping: He did amazingly well, he must be a natural, does he want to go into acting, weekend clubs and stuff or is he just a confident chappie all round?

He is actually quite quiet and shy, but has a very clear speaking voice, and it works really well that you can hear and make out everything he says, he seemed to have an amazing memory for the lines, within 10 days he had pretty well learnt it all, he just got on with it and seemed neither one way nor the other about it, but he did admit tonight to having quite enjoyed it.

He is going to be going to a senior school which is a specialist performing arts school, something we didn't think he was at all bothered about, but who knows now!

One of the lads a year younger than him is an actor in Casualty, so you never know!
