I don't like the deep ones with loads of mincemeat but I love the ones like Greggs sell.

made mince pies at the weekend...all homemade..mincemeat and all...:)
it is one of nigella lawsons recipe with loads of cranberries...very yummy

mmm yummy I do love a good mince pie :) I shall be making them on Saturday with the two eldest mindees (cheating with frozen pastry though as have too much in freezer and need to use it up!)

a friend of my mums used to bake me a huge tin full every year and they were so mouthwateringly tasty she would never give me them before christmas week as i ate them all too soon they were very moreish :D she has passed away now though.
I like the iced topped ones but not the really deep ones as theres too much filling for me x
