paper plate robins

This is an idea from creative steps but was originally for chickens!

Paint paper plate brown
once dry fold in half with curved side down staple a brown head on one side ( I cut one out of foam but you could use card) and a feather for a tail on the other.
Get child to paint the robin's breast red and then finally staple some yellow feet on bottom.

Sounds nice, I am going to save this for my winter scene display after christmas!

I have raided all of the penguins, snowmen, snowflakes from the christmas bits I bought as i thought there was enough without them to do a separate winter thing in January, so this is a good idea, might make some mini ones!
