I know a few others have mentioned having a booklet of questions to prepare answers to before your pre-reg visit.
I've spent quite a few nights going throught the EYFS and all the other paperwork that I was given at my two info sessions with our local childminding association. Sarah suggested on a thread that I look at her EYFS for Childminders site (http://eyfsforchildminders.webnode.com//).
I spent last night reading every single page of the site and scribbling notes in my question book. It feels like everything has sunk in better now and I feel much more inspired.
The EYFS is very much common sense but there is just so much to remember. Sarah has cut it down into simple terms and provided lots of examples/senarios to back up what she has written.
I hope it is ok to post this but thought it might be helpful for others at the same stage as me (waiting for a pre-reg visit). :thumbsup:
