if the job centre pay for childcare while a single parent goes for an interview??

They have a discrtionary fund for things like that, I know it can pay for travel and clothes for the interview so would presume you can use it for an interview too.

yeah they do if your on job seekers and they want you to attend meetings/interviews.

Yes, it does. Parent will give you a form that you fill in with your details and your charges plus the times you have the LO.
This is how I started out with one of my mindees - when mum was successful with a job she came 3 days.
i have the LO already as mum is on a course through new deal for lone parents but mum has an interview on friday and was wondering :laughing:
