hi all, just wonderin how often are we supposed to refresh our policies , iv been minding nearly yr n half now and not done it and i really dont want to to be honest ,it really stressed me out 1st time if i didnt find the bromley site i would of been stuck:panic:

The policies are done, you just have to look throughl them again and see if it is all still relevent.
I have been going six months and have to review mine too (as of yesterday) and I still haven't started, though I know it wont take me more than half an hour.

I review mine annually, or before if anything changes.

On the bottom of every policy I've got a small font typing in red to say 'Review December 09' which means it will be reviewed before the END of December.
So I will just go through them and re-print them just changing the red small font to ' Review December 2010'.
So really best to review them once a year. I have already reviewed the Safeguarding and Complaints policies as they changed back in September anyway.
