The children and I are doing a small scale nativity play for the parents. I am writing the script which is very easy as there are so few words!!

I am struggling to remember songs suitable for nursery age children.

I've got twinkle twinkle (wise men), rat a tat tat(inn keepers) and wish you a merry christmas (final scene) but I need something for the shepherds.

Any ideas please :littleangel:

that sounds a great idea

I love hearing kids sing Little Donkey (or Little Bonkers as James sings)

Hi

I did this with 30 toddlers a few years ago. Here goes

Baa Baa Black Sheep - Shepherds
Twinkle Twinkle
Little Donkey
Here we go up to Bethlehem (to the tune Here we go Round the Mulberry Bush
Away in a Manger to finish - always brings a tear.

Good Luck
