Guess What? . . . we made salt dough, baked in Micro and painted!!!!! . . . my boys kept saying "This is so much fun!"

they look great i really must get round to trying this today i decorated jars for playgroup xmas fair on sat .... didnt have mindees so did some myself but mindees doin thiers tomorrow older already done one at play group just younger one i couldnt watch them both at playgroup to do one so 12 month old havin a go tomorrow but i have a plastic jar for her....

I used ordinary paints before and it worked but I prefer acrylic paints on the salt dough...
special pieces also get 2 coats of clear wood varnish to make them last and they look very pretty that way too!

3432 heres a picture of my decorated jars :D oh it worked lol ... just empty jars then decorate use to do this every year when my son was at school ... attached pics cus was asked what they looked like..
