Hi Everyone
Sorry to ask such a silly question but it has been bothering me for a while- are 8 year olds included in your numbers?

No there not included x
i was told i can have any number of 8+ as long as i was within the limits of my insurance ..... if that makes sense??
Wouldn't it be great if we only had 8 year olds, no planning:)

no planning would be great but 8+ year olds are hard to look after as no matter what you set up for them they are alawys bored lol

thats NOT always true
i care for 2 8 yr olds, 1 9 yr old and a 10 yr old and they never complain they are bored, we have set activities each night, mainly board games and they love it  also helps them with their vocab skill and negotiation skills :D

You don't need to plan for 6+ either - yippee
Keep in mind that Ofsted will look at how to accomodate EYFS registered children when you have over 8's.
