with things like colouring in withing lines and cutting lines etc to keep in their file do you date them, age them or both..or other?

I do the date but in the obs training I've been to they talk about the age.....

I put both that way when you look back at the child's file you can see how old they were at certain times and see how they are progressing:)

I use the EYFS sheets that have the "predicted age" and I put a date when they achieve the relevant development.

I do both, just to make my maths easier when looking back at their work.

I date all their art work but put date and age on observations :)
