:eek: A strange phone number has been ringing me almost 10 times today and almost 5 times in the space of 2hrs!
I get really paranoid about strange phone numbers that never leave a message on my answerphone.
If Ofsted were ringing or even just the inspector, they would try your mobile as well surely? :panic:
Until they leave a message I'm not ringing them ;)

It can't be any customers as they only have access to my mobile number.

My number is withheld so if this were me I would be calling the number to find out who it was

Yeah, but then you fall into their trap :eek: And I really don't want to be spending all weekend worrying about them coming over next week.

OFSTED have always left me messages with a name and number to ring them back. 08456404040.

I would have thought ofsted would have left a message - mine did. Perhaps its a prospective parent? Sometimes people don't like leaving messages.

There is a strange 0845 ringing me.
It is a sales company which dials by computer.
It rings until it gets an answer, then cuts off, then rings again with a sales person on the other end.
Ofsted would not ring that much - they ring once or at most twice a day.
It's usually with the 404040 unless the inspector is ringing from home then it's withheld.

Sarah, that's what I was thinking! If it was the inspector they would have hidden their tel no and I know that if it was the Ofsted office then they would have tried my mobile, they did last time anyway.
Can't be a parent as it's not a local tel no. Anyway if they really want to get in touch with me they can e-mail me through my website.

I have a mobile number calling me, I don't like answering to strange numbers.
