West Sussex have just produced a folder for each childminder of the early assessment materials and also including the learning journal. It's not statutory to use theirs if you're here but as there's an online link I thought it might help people other than those in west sussex..

(apologies if that's not a clickable link - I tried!)

My only complaint (i'm in WS) is that they are not very printer friendly- they use so much black & blue ink  I'm hoping not to use them or just use bits of it, but the networks want childminders to use them.

They are great thanks for that. I was looking for one of the profile things earlier this week and just couldn't find anything that was printable and usable - these are great.

How would you use the progress review sheets? would you highlight them once the child has achieved the goal?

Oooh fantastic, thankyou very much for this! I'm in West Sussex, but hadn't heard about this... How did you know about it?
I'm newly registered, and feeling a bit out on a limb, is there someone I should be making contact with?

Where in West Sussex are you?

I found out at the local childminder drop in at the children and family centre and they are also the people who have the packs to collect.

There's a lot of drop in's around, always worth trying to find out if there's one near you......
