when will ofsted come?

just wondering how long it takes for ofsted to do their first inspection after registration comes through? I know it's meant to be within the first 6 months. I've only been registered a week or so and wondering if they might come soon . . .:panic:

it depends on your area and how busy they are they do normally ring you before they come so you may get a little warning but all i can say is be prepared if you are doing it right you shouldnt have anything to worry about i invite new childminders round to have a look at my setting and help where i can maybe you could be friend a childminder in your area to help put you at ease

5 weeks after I started minding for me which was about 2 months after registration, was told ate pre-reg it would be 7 months

I'm into my 6th month and still no inspection.

I did talk to an inspector last week, cos I applied for a variation, and she said Dec .... which will be 7th month.

Just gotta finish my SEF but I just haven't been able to bring myself to look at again for two whole weeks. I HATE it :angry:
