I told my Ofsted inspector I use the forum and gave the name to her to pass on to her childminder friend. Dont know whether either of them use it or have even looked :)

I would care if they did either, we are all great people and they would be lucky to chat to us :D

If they do so be it, all they will see is the writings of a group of caring and hard working childmindres who want to do their best by the children they care for. They may just see the kind of problems we deal with on a day to day basis and how hard we work to abide by all the legislation and requirements they throw at us.

ahhh but that would mean they would have to make the answers up on the hoof and not have a whole team to back up and add to a rambling, vague answer that comes back to an irrelevant EYFS point!!! lol

When i had my unexpected call from ofsted the other week i told her about the forum as she asked if i had any support, to which i told her i have the best support from here and i also have my local minding group. She seemed impressed and she thought it was a great way to support each other:)
