Hi - As part of our themes I want to start looking at countries..obviously its easier when there is a celebration going on in one...so for example, in March its St Patricks Day, so a good opportunity to look at Ireland!

I would like a nice big map for various different countries...can anyone suggest anything - I cant draw for toffee!!!

Cheers,

Sx

Don't forget to do a map of your local area - key points like your mindees home, your home (setting), places you go (school, nursery, fav shops etc), great way for the kids to learn about their local area.

Oh thats a great idea. I must do this for the road safety thing I am doing and then we can mark safe points to cross and stuff. Thank you.

I was just about to say... look in WHSmiths... only £2.99... pictures child oreinetated...

Another good idea is to take a photo for each country you 'visit' and make either a scrap book or a passport :D
