I have been "applying" since April! I know it has taken me ages to get it all sorted but i have had other things on my mind
1, husband has had problems with his prostate but that is now under control
2, Then DD#1 was ...how can i put it delicately..."attacked" by a man in May and we have all had to come to terms with it. We were due to go to court tomorrow but he pleaded guilty at the last moment and as a family we feel a big weight has been lifted. DD is wonderful and has managed to continue her degree and is now in her 3rd year. So my enthusiasm has been re kindled!
So what have i done so far?
All application forms, declaration and medical forms filled in and ready to send.
Prep for visit form done
Welcome pack
Policies
Permission forms
About me booklet
Risk assessed all rooms and have all safety stuff
Daily risk assess form
Portfolio started
Garden kiddie proof
Weekly menu plan sample
Weekly timetable sample
Toys
High chair
Buggy
Re dec kitchen and dining room
I have to sort out following
Car ins (that is due for renewal end of month)
House ins
Pers ins...NCMA application to go in when have heard from OFSTED
Fire safety officer to give advice
Fire blanket (see NCMA)
First aid kits
Visitor book
Daily Diaries ,Learning Journey books...these two will be sorted out on an as and when basis
Book for fridge and freezer temps
