first enquiry, now confusing myself over rates!

i have had an enquiry for school pickup for a 5 & 8 year old 3 hours a day monday to friday this i am happy with and have worked out the rates but she also wants school holiday full time cover. but this could potentially mean i loose a full time place while they are at school, i know i could offer this place term time only. (sorry waffling)

any way what kind of retainer would you charge and would you keep your hourly/daily rates the same.

also i haven't had any enquiries yet but do live very close to a large hospital where there are always staff looking for childcare but they work shifts so any advice on this would be good too. thanks:)

I dont know of any childminders who charge retainers while children are in school, because of the age of the children you would not lose a full time place have a look at your registration certificate, you can normally look after 3 children under the age of 5, and 3 children age 5-8 which are filled by before and after schoolers
