Removal Company advice please

Hoping to move soon - thought I better get some estimates. I haven't used a removal firm before, can anyone give any advice on the questions to ask or what to look out for. We will be packing ourselves and apparently the removals companies around here supply the boxes and tape for free - when you have paid the deposit of course.

Value any advice or experiences.
