Weekend Charges

Hi

I haven't actually started minding yet, still awaiting my certificate! However I've had someone enquiring about Saturdays and I have no idea what to charge. I'm thinking I'd like to charge more than my normal rate but as I'm new don't want to put people off. Just wondering what the majority charge for weekend work.

I would do time and a half for Saturday and double for Sunday.

I would charge double for all weekend work - i have 3 kids of my own and if i am to work weekends it needs to be worth my while putting up with the moaning from my boys!
