I'm thinking of doing a similar agreement for older children as they do for school.
The school one is mainly about getting to school on time and doing homework.
What do you think a CM agreement should be?
Children must respect CM and their home and other children
No bullying
Parents pick up on time
Be polite
Be a good role model for younger kids

Or will this be a bit over the top? :D

I always have 'golden rules' for school age children all the children decide what these are every term. I limit it to ten rules max, it's amazing how many rules they come up with that reflect my own or are stricter.

I just do the paperwork that I do for the under 8's.

I don't guarantee that homework will be done as we are out and about in the good weather and if you are signing to that you have to do it.

Don't make any rods for your own back.

I do the same as Debbie and then have 5 Golden Rules that are agreed with the children.

I will never commit to do homework with them that is the parents responsibility.
If a child wants to sit and do homework I have a table they can use and some limited internet access, also a large range of books they can access if they want to.

I dont guarantee the homework neither my dd does hers when she gets in my mindee can join in if she wants. Mum likes her too but if its nice like yesterday there just wasn't enough time for her to do it all.
