Me and my 3yr old mindee made a large tree today out of paper and card, did a trunk and branches. My idea is too fill it with different leaves over the next few weeks i have thought of doing:

Real leaves laminated

Leaf rubbing

Leaf printing

Just colouring in or painting leaves

can anybody think of any other way to make leaves to decorate it?

what a fab idea!!!!!!
Can't think of anything not suggested at the moment but will have a think
one thing I did think about though was maybe extending it to acorns, conkers, pine cones etc to extend the autum theme

just had a look at sparkle box, they are good but i was thinking more of different ways to make leaves rather than just printing them out.

Extending it is a good idea, we could collect small twigs to stick on the trunk and branches and any other sort of 'thing' that comes off trees:)

Cut them out of different material

Squishing and sticking tissue paper and glue on paper leaves.

Stick rice and lentils on paper leaves

pastry leaves and bake them until they go hard:thumbsup:

I used to have a celebration tree in my playroom and every time a child did something good/hit a milestone we wrote on a paper leaf and stuck it on. The kids loved it
