Keeping Receipts ?????

Hello, I am wondering if anyone can help me???? at my Briefing session in March.
I was told to keep all recipts of anything that i Bought to use for the business, now I am not sure what to do with them ???

Are you suppose to send them back to Ofsted or a different department ???

And do they give you a complete refund or just a percentage ??

There could be a couple of anwers to this:

If you are getting a start up grant you will need the receipts to claim back so keep them and ask your local Surestart or Early Years about any grant.

If you are not getting the grant you need to keep receipts under or accumulating to a total of £10.00 and these go with your expenses and will be needed by the IR should you be required to produce your accounts.

Ofsted do not receive any receipts.

when (or is it just before) you reg'ed as a cm they send out a form .. it will tell you how much you can claim and in what area's (i dont think you have call up for it)

once done that keep any remanding reciepts for your books

i kept all mine and any i buy now

remember if buy anything at market you can ask seller to do recipt for you (or do it your self) i was told having their number or part of address on it helps (im guessing in case it gets checked up on)
