View Full Version : Ofsted are coming!!!

Hi,

Got a phone call yesterday, Ofsted want to come and inspect me next week (I was registered in Feb so this is my 1st grading inspection).
They asked what hours I was working, what ages of kids etc, which are still in the early years group and she decided she'd like to see me when the 1 yr old is here, so that means it will be tues or wed next week. But she did say that this is an unannounced inspection though.. But if she's not here by 9.30 or 10 on Tuesday it will be Wed!!!!

Just making sure all policies are up to date, 3 learning journey's to do, accounts, and just checking registers etc!!!!!
Think I'm going to be busy!!!

Forget about your accounts though - Ofsted are not interested in that.

Good luck with the inspection. Its more notice than I got, I had a phone call at 3pm on Thursday and an inspection at 9.30 am the following day :eek:

Hi,

No time to write much, but they've been.

Inspector was really nice, here 3 hours.
And the important bit I got

GOOD :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Very pleased for my 1st inspection, she said if there was 'very good' still would have given me that.
Couldn't tell me all the judgements till report is written and verified?? but they were mostly goods with some outstandings.
Plus I've got the potential to be Outstanding in the future.

Will try and post more another time.

Thanks for everyone's reassurance and help since I've been on here.
