As far as I know accounts/finances are nothing to do with ofsted. They are for the tax man should he want to investigate.

I have waved my accounts book under inspector's noses before now on request but nothing more.

I am not aware of anything in the Eyfs that says they have a right to look in any more detail than that.

It's the tax man's job not Ofsted. :D

Personally I would never show the Ofsted inspector my accounts book. It is between me and the tax man as to how much I earn from my work.

I have blank copies of the paper work I use for accounts but as far as I am aware Ofsted only have a right to see anything connected to the child (could be wrong though)

I am having an ongoing debate about this for my quality assurance as they are telling everyone we need to include a bank statement - er I don't think so nothing to do with you
