sorry not been around much, got a lot on, you all know how that feels!

anyway had my inspection, well what a relief its over. lots of goods and outstanding in 3 areas, which i am truly happy with. i wanted one for keeping children safe, which i achieved so the others are a bonus.

she said my obs, planning, next steps were to complicated and i need to simplyfy it, (thats a reccommendation) i'v been doing too much and now i cannot follow it myself never mind ofsted! just getting my own back:laughing: !

my inspector was fab, she allowed me time ( i need it) to explain things, i'm not very good at explaing things or answering questions when put on the spot. mind goes blank! (shhh 5 hours) she said she not signing my vistors book to say she had been here that long and i'm not to tell anyone but your not anyone are you?

ah well lets hope i feel like getting into the swing of things again soon. i miss you lot and the forum. cheers folks. luv u lotsxxx

in answer to your question pauline, yes ofsted inspector said forget what you have done and start again! after all my hard work over 2 years!

all i need is simple post-it note of obs ,next steps, planning, obs, next steps, planning, in a cycle ensureing that it shows your planning from your previous obs and following it through, and to include parents.

she said somethings may get missed from a childs development because you cannot follow mine ( i argued this point) saying it would probably get missed cause i'm too busy writing and who's going to see it, i said i was doing this for ofsted she said "its not for me to see" then said mmm well yes i surpose it is for me to see.

thanks all for your congratulations i'm truly chuffed with the result:jump for joy:
