schools hols/retainer

If you only have children in school hols how much rtainer fee do you charge throughout the rest of the yr?

i only offer older children care during school holidays and not term-time so i don't charge any retainer.

Depends on if you are able to fill spaces during term-time.

if i have a child during the hols i just see it as a bonus for me

I'm the same as Jen - I have worked for a lot of teachers over the years and I would never have asked for money if I wasn't looking after their children... I try to fill the other spaces and if not, I enjoy the holidays with my own children :D

I don't charge retainers at all. I have 3 children that are contracted for term-time only and I don't charge retainer for hols. I also have some children only in hols and I don't charge retainer for term time. It evens out nicely, though I seem to make more money but have an easier workload during hols!
