I have decided to charge for 2 weeks holiday per year. I'm not sure how to charge for this though. I used a childminder once who wanted 2 weeks paid leave and we spread the payment throughout the year, just adding it to each months bill. What do other's do?

i have a week fully paid at easter and a week at christmas.

I have four weeks holiday plus bank holidays off a year - I charge half of contracted hours when I am not available, ie on holiday or a day off, and half when they are on holiday. Most parents book their holidays when I go away, I always let parents know my main holidays in January. This has always worked well for me.
Some ch/m charge nothing when they are away but full when parents take time off. But as most of my parent book the same time as me, I think Im better off!
