ok, so mrs ofsted said she would register me for 2 mindees to start with as my own 2 are very active and still so young but that i could up my numbers at my 1st inspection (or review? not sure...cant remember for sure what she said...)
so i am allowed one child between 1+5yrs and one between 5+8yrs.
my dim question is, what should my vacancies be? im thinking it would be 2 full time vacancies, yeah? that means i can only have 2 children on my books...sounds silly but i just wanted to make sure

You can have 2 children 1 under 5 1 over 5 at any one time on a particular day.

But you could have Billy and Jack on Mon, tues

and sue & kate on wed, thurs fri

don't hold out for full timers as they are great if they come along but I have only ever had one full-time pre schooler everyone else has been part-time hours
