I had my pre-registration visit today, yipee!! Went really well, but she recomended that I include a 'starting point form' in my getting to know the child pack. this needs to be like a checklist of things the child can already do. For example, I can tie my shoelaces, wash my own hands, I know my colours, I can count to ten, the parents simply ticks if they can do each one and then I know where to focus my efforts. I've looked everywhere for an example, cause I don't want to re-invent the wheel..... any ideas anyone??

Hi,
If you type " child starting points " into search at the top you will find other posts about this. There may also be something in downloads. I can highly recommend Sarah707's e-books on her website. She has written one about this with lots of detailed forms.:)
