hi ya.. I've just started putting together my EYFS LJ and have done a summative review of mindees development.. does anyone do a feedback form for parents to review and comment on the LJ so you can use for other mindees .. if you do .. what kinds of questions do you ask?

any ideas would be great!

I haven't for my lo who's going to year 1. I did a report for my lo who is going to reception based on the 40-60 months age range. He's not four until mid aug so only 47 months,so obviously only just starting to meet learning goals.

I used it for mum and passed a copy to nursery so that they could forward to reception teacher if necessary.

It is good practice to do a quick summary every few months.

That way you will quickly spot things that might be missed from your planning etc and it's good to speak to parents about how well their child is progressing in bite sized chunks which is what summaries allow you to do.

Just gather your notes for the previous months and look back, thinking how much the child has achieved :D
